DIALOGUE:

The Digital Care Technologies for Social Connection, Care and Support of Older Adults (DIALOGUE) project aims to identify what social care technologies, provided for older adults with assisted living needs, have the potential to become a routine part of social care services in the future.

The Rekindle Research Group is working with six Universities on this research in a co-production capacity. The lead institutions are the Universities of Stirling, Northumbria, Newcastle, the Open University, Bristol University and Hertfordshire University. Other partners include local authorities, and companies providing technologies for social care.

The community research partnerships will work alongside the academic team to identify priorities for social care services, and technologies which could be provided by social care services across the UK. The goal of this project will be to develop an application for a large research project, for the National Institute for Health Research, which will collect evidence about which technologies should be provided by social care services across the UK.
