The Rekindle Reseach Group met at Thorntree Community Hub to scope out extensions and developments to the famous St Hilda's Digital Walk
This will enhance the current walk but will also make it possible to extend outwards creating 3 digital walks to be delivered in a partnership between Middlesbrough Community Learning and The Staying Put Agency. The first of these walks takes place in January 2024 and thereafter three Digital Walks will take place each month.
As well as digital activity this also has benefits in health and wellbeing. Walkers will gain an insight into Middlesbrough Heritage. For people already aware of some of the history the group hopes to introduce some surprises with some little known stories. For other participants not native to Middlesbrough it will be a complete eye opener.
